Transforming the Arts
at The University of Texas at Dallas
Cultural Arts for Our Communities
An Athenaeum provides a space for cultivating knowledge, culture, and the arts. The state-of-the-art multicomplex in progress at UT Dallas promises that and more. It delivers a new cultural arts district to the DFW metroplex.

Future Phases
The final phases of the O’Donnell Athenaeum complex will include an outdoor arts plaza and a two-story, 50,000-square-foot museum for the traditional arts of the Americas. On the eastern edge of the plaza, masked by a freestanding wall, will be a three-story 1,100-car parking structure with two levels above grade and one basement level walkout that will serve the Athenaeum and UT Dallas campus.
Full STEAM Ahead
The Athenaeum is a focal point for educational and cultural excellence in North Texas. We are moving full-STEAM ahead, creating the newest cultural destination in the DFW metroplex.
